On our farm, we milk Jersey cows. Not only are they super cute and friendly but they provide a higher content of protein, fats and calcium. They are known for their superior butter-fat and sweet tasting milk. Milk from Jersey cattle offers the greatest nutritional value providing 15-20% more quality protein, 15-18% more calcium, 10-12% more phosphorous and also considerably higher levels of B12. Our Jerseys are pasture-fed; they receive no artificial hormones and each one gives an average of 25 gallons of milk a week.
