Creamy Chocolate Pudding

This little cookbook is one of my treasured finds that I came across at an auction several years ago. It holds a collection of many wonderful recipes contributed by farm wives and other local ladies from our county. This cookbook is especially meaningful to us because Matt’s grandma was one of the women who helped to compile and create this special book. There are countless great recipes inside, but one of our personal favorites is the creamy chocolate pudding. It’s very easy to whip up and makes for a delicious, comforting sweet treat. If you’ve never had pudding made from scratch, this recipe is definitely one you should try. And if you’ve never enjoyed it warm, you are truly missing out.

This is an old newspaper clipping about the cookbook that we found at Matt’s grandparents’ house. Matt’s grandma, Betty Fagan, is the lady in the middle.

This cookbook is over 40 years old and is such a treasure.
