Homemade Whipped Cream

Fresh whipped cream is made with 3 simple ingredients: cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla.

1. Chill the mixing bowl in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

2. Start with cold cream. Just scoop that cream off of the top of your farm-fresh milk.

3. Whip the cream, sugar, and vanilla on medium-high speed. You may be asking how much sugar and vanilla? I just pour some in, but it is probably a tablespoon of powdered sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla. Don't be afraid to experiment with it.

4. Don't over mix it! It only takes a couple of minutes. You want a smooth texture with medium peaks.
